DeLille Cellars Makes Food and Wine's List of Top Washington State Wineries

Food and Wine recently highlighted their list of the “Best Washington State Wineries to Visit” and we are thrilled to share that DeLille Cellars made the list! The feature quotes Richard Nalley, who describes that “once known chiefly for its value wines and terrific Riesling, Washington has built a reputation for complex reds that rival top California bottlings. The industry is growing: In the past decade, Washington has more than tripled its number of wineries and recently approved its 13th AVA. Here, the best Washington state wineries to visit.”

Of DeLille Cellars, the article reads, “among the state’s top wineries, this small, suburban Woodinville producer makes age-worthy Bordeaux-style wines under the DeLille label and top Rhône-style wines under the Doyenne name, and single vineyard wines from Red Mountain under Grand Ciel.”

While Food and Wine highlights both the Carriage House in Woodinville and Maison DeLille Wine Lounge in Kirkland, we have to admit we are in favor of the latter. Of course, one reason is that we share the Connoisseurs of Life Showroom with the vintners, but it’s also because the location is a premier wine lounge where exquisite wines perfectly pair with happenings and a vibrant atmosphere.
