NEXUS, a highly anticipated high rise tower in the Denny Triangle, broke ground this past Tuesday, March 14th.

This 41-story project, as highlighted in a recent Curbed article, is slated to be one of the first high tech, rise rises to join the Seattle skyline. The developers, Burrard Group, have seamlessly integrated many high tech, home automation features within the condominiums.

The smart home technology, which has been coined “Xen”, utilizes the property's custom app in order to allows owners to control lighting, temperature, security options utilizing smart locks, book the building's common spaces like private dining rooms and conference centers, organize events and meetups with other residents, crowdfund with other residents for events such as yoga classes or chef nights, track their energy usage, turn appliances on and off, control their in unit entertainment systems, allow access for home deliveries, and more.

NEXUS is ultimately an extension of the current tech focused climate in Seattle and has garnered much attention due to it's standout tech and home automation features.
